Deleting a message
Step 1) Click on the Inbox icon in the PHONEslips toolbar or the full
application, or right click the PHONEslips system tray icon and
choose View Inbox. Click here

Step 2) Click on the message(s) that need to be deleted. To select
multiple messages hold down the Ctrl key on the keyboard as you click
on messages.
Step 3) Click on the remove button. Click here

Step 4) Highlight the delete menu item and click ok as shown in this example.
Close the view message window or push the update button and the
message will be deleted.

Undeleting a message
WARNING!!!!
EVERYONE MUST BE CLOSED OUT OF PHONESLIPS IN ORDER TO UNDELETE MESSAGES!
Step 1) Everyone must close PHONEslips. To do this click on the x in
the upper right hand corner of the PHONEslips toolbar, or right click
on the PHONEslips system tray icon and choose Shutdown. Click here

Step 2) Open the PSAdmin program by double clicking on psadmin.exe in
your PHONEslips directory.
Step 3) Click on the message menu, then click on Un-delete. Click here
for an example.
Step 4) Now a name select window will appear. Choose the name and
click ok as shown in this picture.
Step 5) A search criteria window now appears. Enter any information
that might make it easier to find a specific message. If no
information is entered, PSAdmin will generate a list of all deleted
messages since the last reindex or upgrade. Click here

Step 6) A list of undeletable records will appear. Highlight the
record you want and click undelete. Click here

Searching through messages
Step 1) Click on the full application button as shown in this example.
Step 2) Click on the search menu then choose 'Messages'. Click here
for an example.
Step 3) The message may be new or archived, choose one of these
options. If the message is in the Inbox, then select new, if it's
archived, select archive. To view all messages, select all
Note: Selecting all will not search the send
log due to security reasons.
Step 4) Next you will see a window asking which user or users to
search through. Select all or click on an individual and press ok.
Step 5) Now the search criteria window should be visible. fill out
the fields and then click on the find button when finished. Click here
to see an example. This will display results that may be printed or copied.

Replying to a phone message
Step 1) Click on the Inbox icon in the PHONEslips toolbar or the full
application, or right click the PHONEslips system tray icon and
choose View Inbox. Click here

Step 2) Double click on the phone message that requires a reply.
Phone messages are marked in pink. Click here

Step 3) Click on the reply button as shown in this example.
Step 4) Enter a name(or group) for the message(s) to be sent to. A
small note to the recipient(s) may be added to give background
information regarding the message. Click here

Replying to a memo
Step 1) Click on the Inbox icon in the PHONEslips toolbar or the full
application, or right click the PHONEslips system tray icon and
choose View Inbox. Click here

Step 2) Double click on the memo that needs a reply. Memos are
distinguishable by their yellow pad appearance. Click here
for an example.
Step 3) Click on the reply button as highlighted in this example.
Step 4) A new memo will appear with the first few words from the the
original . From here just type in the response and click on send as
shown in this example.

Replying to an e-mail
Step 1) Click on the Inbox icon in the PHONEslips toolbar or the full
application, or right click the PHONEslips system tray icon and
choose View Inbox. Click here

Step 2) Double click on the e-mail message that requires a reply.
E-mail messages are distinguishable by their white envelope
appearance in the type area. Click here

Step 3) Click on the reply button. PHONEslips will ask if you want to
copy the message text over, select yes or no as your preference may
be. Click here

Step 4) After typing the reply click on the send button. Click here

Copy a message to another user
Step 1) Click on the Inbox icon in the PHONEslips toolbar or the full
application, or right click the PHONEslips system tray icon and
choose View Inbox. Click here

Step 2) Click on the message(s) that need to be copied to another
user(s), then click on the copy button as shown in this example.
Step 3) Click on the 'To' button to select a name from the list of
people to copy the message to as shown in this example.

Archiving a message
Step 1) Click on the Inbox icon in the PHONEslips toolbar or the full
application, or right click the PHONEslips system tray icon and
choose View Inbox. Click here

Step 2) Click on the message(s) needing to be archived then, click on
the remove button. Click here
to see an example.
Step 4) Highlight the archive menu item and click ok as shown in this
example. Close the view message window and the message will be archived.

Creating a folder
Step 1) Click on the full application button as shown in this example.
Step 2) Click on the 'View' menu then select the 'Folder' menu-item.
Step 3) Click on the new button on the bottom of the window. Click here
to see an example.
Step 4) Make the folder either personal or common. Now give the
folder name and click ok as shown in this
example. The folder has been created.

Deleting a Common folder
WARNING!!!!

COMMON FOLDER!
Step 1) Make sure the folder you want to delete is completely empty
of messages.
Step 2) Everyone must close PHONEslips. To do this click on the x in
the upper right hand corner of the PHONEslips toolbar, or right click
on the PHONEslips system tray icon and choose Shutdown. Click here

Note: You can check user
status In PSAdmin, click on the 'User' menu, then 'Display User
Status' and make sure no one is listed as Active in the status list.
Step 3) Open up the PSAdmin program. This program is located in the
PHONEslips folder.
Step 4) Click on the 'Message' menu, then click on the 'View/Search'
menu item, and a new sub-menu will appear. Left click on the 'Folder'
option. Click here

Step 6) Highlight the folder that needs to be deleted and click 'Delete'.

Sending a message to a folder
Step 1) Click on the Inbox icon in the PHONEslips toolbar or the full
application, or right click the PHONEslips system tray icon and
choose View Inbox. Click here

Step 2) Click on the message(s) needing to be copied to a folder,
then click on the remove button. Click here

Step 3) Highlight the folder menu item and click ok as shown in this example.
Step 5) Choose the folder receiving the message then click on the
'Select' button. Close out of the view message window and the message
will be sent to the folder. Click here

View messages different users have entered into a folder
Step 1) Click on the full application button as shown in this example.
Step 2) Click on the 'View' menu, then select the 'Folder' menu-item,
then 'Message List View' as shown in this example.
Step 4) Click on the double arrows next to the the name area. Click here
to see an example.
Step 5) Select the name of the user that would have placed the
message into the folder. Selecting the * - All option will create a
list of all messages in a folder.
Step 6) Now click on either the personal or common to find the
folder, select the folder and then click on the select button. Click here

Step 1) Click on the full application button as shown in this example.
Step 2) Click on the 'View' menu, then select the 'Folder' menu-item,
then 'Message List View' as shown in this example.
