How Do I... In The Version 5.0 In/Out Board?
Set up messages to
auto-forward to my text message enabled cell phone
Setting up messages to auto-forward to a cell phone Step 1) Setup the auto-forwarding options for the user by opening the Full Application of PHONEslips, going to 'Setup' and then click on 'Options'. Click here for an example. Step 2) Click on the 'Message' tab at the top of the options window and enter the cell phone address for the user then click 'OK'. Click here for an example. Step 3) Open the PHONEslips In/Out Board either by clicking on the In/Out Board icon in the PHONEslips toolbar, or by right clicking the PHONEslips system tray icon and selecting 'In/Out Board'. Click here for an example.
Step 4) On the In/Out message board, right click
on the user name you want to forward messages for and click toggle
in/out status, so the status changes to Out. Click here
for an example. Step 6) Choose Cell Phone under the Forward message to option as shown here. You may optionally choose to only forward urgent messages by checking the Only Forward Urgent Messages checkbox as shown here. Step 7) Press 'OK' to accept the settings. Note: When the In/Out board status is set back to In, the auto forwarding will be turned off. Click here to return to the top of the page.

Setting up an out of office e-mail auto-reply
Step 1) Open the PHONEslips In/Out Board either
by clicking on the In/Out Board icon in the PHONEslips toolbar, or by
right clicking the PHONEslips system tray icon and selecting 'In/Out
Board'. Click here
for an example. Step 4) Type the Auto-Reply message you would like to be sent out then click OK.
Note: the e-mail
auto-reply will be deactivated when you set the In/Out board back to
In status for this user. Click here to return to the top of the page.
Setting up an auto reply for e-mail while you are in the office
Step 1) Open the PHONEslips In/Out Board either
by clicking on the In/Out Board icon in the PHONEslips toolbar, or by
right clicking the PHONEslips system tray icon and selecting 'In/Out
Board'. Click here
for an example. Step 3) Click on the Auto-Reply tab and check the "Send this reply to all E-mails while In" checkbox as shown in this example. Step 4) Type the Auto-Reply message you would like to be sent then click OK. An auto-reply will now be sent for all e-mail that this user receives. Click here to return to the top of the page.
Setting up an auto-reply for all e-mail messages regardless of In/Out status
Step 1) Open the PHONEslips In/Out Board either
by clicking on the In/Out Board icon in the PHONEslips toolbar, or by
right clicking the PHONEslips system tray icon and selecting 'In/Out
Board'. Click here
for an example. Step 3) Click on the Auto-Reply tab and check both the "Send this reply to all E-mails while out" checkbox and the "Send this reply to all E-mails while In" checkbox. Click here for an example. Step 4) Type the Auto-Reply message you would like to be sent, make sure to type a message into both fields, then click OK. Click here to return to the top of the page. |
