How Do I... in the Version 6.0 Call Log?
Create a Call Log message
Step 2) Select the appropriate Outgoing or Incoming status for the call log message. Fill in the appropriate fields as desired. Step 3) If the contact record already exists in the PHONEslips PhoneList, the auto search feature will locate the desired client record and automatically fill in the appropriate company, telephone number and extension fields. (This feature functions identically to the Auto Search feature available when generating Phone Messages). Step 4) To generate a Call log for another user, click the Name List button in the lower right corner of the screen and select the desired user. Step 5) Click the Save Button to store the record permanently in the message database. Click here to return to the top of the page.
Step 2) Select the View menu option and select Call logs new or archive. Choose the desired user and click OK. The Call log quick list screen will appear. Step 3) Highlight the desired Call log messages and click the Print button to generate a hard copy printout of the selected message(s). You may also print the Call log message when viewing the message directly. Click here to return to the top of the page.

Step 3) Double-click the desired Call log message or highlight the record and select View to open the message. Step 4) Call Log messages may be deleted, Archived or linked to folders. If deleted, the record may only be recovered using the Undelete feature in the PSAdmin program. If archived, the record is stored in the Archive portion of the message database, and may be viewed or searched for at a later date. Click here to return to the top of the page.
